#ColourOfPassion – Serene Chua

Serene is a private banker and also the co-founder & co-owner of Wolf Burgers and Carvers & Co.

Carvers (at Asia square) was established 4 years ago, serving meat-centric dishes. Wolf burgers was founded 3 years back. There are currently 5 Wolf burgers outlets now, 4 in Singapore & 1 in Hokkaido, Japan. Singapore locations are Funan mall, Suntec City, Changi City Point and CT Hub.

1. What’s your passion?

I’m passionate about too many things… I love colours & experimenting with makeup. Also fashion, jewellery & watches. Favourite Jewellery Brands include Van Cleef & Arpels & Tiffany and Co. AP & Patek Philippe are my favourite watch Brands.

Living in Singapore, I’m naturally also a big foodie. Local delights like Nasi lemak, laksa, wanton mee & chicken rice excite me…And of course burgers! My childhood dream came true when we established Wolf Burgers 3 years ago. Wolf has everything from the hearty Dry aged beef & Wagyu Beef burgers to the “healthier” Miso Tofu Veggie burger & Impossible/Beyond burgers.

Travelling also energises & rejuvenates me. I try to go to 1 new country a year to expand my horizons. The most interesting countries I’ve been to so far would be Kazakhstan, Morocco, Croatia, Africa & Seychelles. On my to-go list are South America, Egypt, Greece & Turkey.
